The project, named Gutenborg, seeks to establish a high quality urban environment, challenge the local procurement environment and introduce Western European levels of quality to the Russian residential market. AHR teams in London, Warsaw, Glasgow and Moscow are working together to bring a comprehensive level of local and wider design and industry knowledge to the project.
A series of housing typologies has been developed including a number of high-rise towers, a central shopping complex and further mid-rise development. The tall buildings will enjoy panoramic views across the Neva River and provide Class A private sale housing.
The entire project is being undertaken using the latest BIM software which will be integrated with a bespoke supply chain. Construction will utilise off-site manufactured technologies to maximise the advantages of the large-scale of delivery and deliver high quality levels. The project will take ten years to complete with initial blocks designed by AHR commencing construction in 2014.
