THE COMPUTATIONAL FOUNDRY LOCATED IN SWANSEA BAY CAMPUS IS AN AMBITIOUS PROJECT TO REHOUSE THE COMPUTER SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENTS INTO A NEW BUILDING WITH GENERAL TEACHING FACILITIES AND BESPOKE RESEARCH FACILITIES. THIS WILL TRANSFORM COMPUTER SCIENCE AT SWANSEA UNIVERSITY INTO A BEACON FOR COMPUTING IN WALES.
The Computational Foundry, which is designed by AHR and backed with funding from the Welsh European Funding Office, provides over 7,000m2 of accommodation across six floors including research space.
AHR is leading a multi-disciplinary team through design and delivery stages managing the detailed engagement with end users in the College of Science and Computing.
