THE HARD INTERCHANGE

  • THE HARD DEVELOPMENT WILL COMPRISE OF THE CREATION OF A NEW BUS INTERCHANGE, A TEN STAND, DRIVE-IN / REVERSE-OUT (DIRO) BUS STATION, WITH TWO DRIVE THROUGH STANDS, PEDESTRIAN DROP OFF AND A TAXI RANK.
  • The building itself will feature a centralised concourse with associated ancillary areas and retail accommodations as well as ticket facilities to purchase tickets for both bus and train travel.

The scheme will also feature an improved link to the existing rail accommodation adjacent to the site with the existing levels increased to improve access between the two facilities.

The site is to be regraded so that the levels of the proposed building can be married to those in the existing rail accommodation allowing for greater connectivity and integration.
