How can AHR help?
We can help you identify and prioritise the needs of your multi-trust academy (MAT), stand-alone academy or sixth-form in order to efficiently secure CIF Funding. Our role is to support you to secure funding and allocate it in the best possible way to enhance your estate.
Over the past 5 years, we've secured funding for over 170 schemes through CIF.
Since the creation of academies, we've been involved in a large number of Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) schemes and we have developed a good understanding of the capital funding routes available to academies.
As we've been part of the bidding process since its introduction, we have been able to consistently achieve a success rate significantly better than the national average.
We provide a bespoke service, based on the individual needs and circumstances of your Trust or Academy and the requirements of both your pupils and staff.
Is my academy eligible to apply for Condition Improvement Funding (CIF)?
The central priority for CIF is to address significant condition needs that require addressing in order to keep your academy or sixth-form college buildings safe and in good working order. This includes funding projects to address health and safety issues, building compliance and poor building condition. As a building consultancy, we can work closely with your school to help clearly identify any defects that require addressing and then work on your behalf to complete the application.
CIF also supports a small proportion of expansion projects for Ofsted-rated good or outstanding academies and sixth-form colleges that need to expand their existing facilities or floor space.
If you are a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with at least five academies and more than 3,000 pupils you do not need to apply and will receive formulaic allocation to deploy across your estate. We can assist you in prioritising plans in order to best use this funding across your school estate.
